This 50,000-acre property sits at the top of a mountain covered in golden aspens and loaded with elk, mule deer, and shiras moose. The property borders another of our long-time 75,000-acre CWMU properties that has been a consistent producer of trophy bucks and bulls. The ranch is serviced from two different lodging locations with the most remote one nearly an hour drive off of the main road into a remote high country area. It comfortably sleeps 6-8 hunters and the guide staff sleeps in the cabins next to the lodge. The lower lodging easier access from paved roads.
Hunters use UTV (Polaris Ranger) buggies to access the vast property and locate bulls. Hunting techniques include calling, spot-and-stalk, and ambushing on meadows. By mid-November, it's not uncommon to see 200-300 elk in a single day of hunting as the big herds gather and move into the canyons for the winter.
