Hunting Utah's Elite Size Trophy Bulls - How to Get the Tags, Where to Hunt, and More....
In Utah, if you want to hunt for ELITE sized elk you have to do one of three things to get a coveted tag:
1. Draw a Tag - Basically waiting 25-30 years gathering preference points or beat the 1 in a 1,000,000 odds
When you beat the odds, we have guides and outfitters for these units to help you make the most out of your tag and opportunity.
2. Buy an Auction Tag - These tags sell for $40,000 to $200,000 but are tax deductible as a donation to a 501(c) organization.
We have guides and outfitters in the state's top units available to guide your hunt and target the best trophy bulls and maximize your hunt.
These hunts are generally done on public lands with special use permits, but can also include some limited private lands access as well.
3. Book a Hunt on a CWMU Property - There are a very limited number of these tags available each year for each property.
The most ELITE private lands, generally enrolled in the CWMU program and these ranches are located in Units where it takes 20-30 years to draw a tag.
This fast tracks the process of being able to hunt the best areas and units.
