The Rio Negro is one of the largest tributaries of the Amazon River where anglers will find themselves in the the Amazon rainforest surrounded by jungle, wildlife, and dozens of exotic fish species to catch. The Rio Negro is renowned for the peacock bass which grow large in the flooded timber and back channels of the Rio Negro, and anglers can anticipate catching numerous bass a day in the 8-15lb class with shots at 20lb fish routinely encountered. Other species available to catch include red-tail and goliath catfish, bicuda, piranha, and more! If anglers want a change of scenery from peacock bass fishing, we highly recommend fishing bait for a chance at an enormous catfish at the end of the day.
Luxury accommodations are found on the floating lodge that features modern necessities for accessing premier fishing grounds in absolute comfort. Guests will have their own private bedroom and bathroom, couples can combine rooms and enjoy twice the space. Delicious meals are prepared fresh daily and lunch is served on the water or back at the boat. Relax at the end of the day with a cold beverage, watching the sun set over the Rio Negro.
