The region of the Northern Brooks Range is home to the overlapping ranges of three caribou herds that number in excess of 300,000 barren-ground caribou. While numbers are fluctuating and the caribou are scattered across the region, hunter success is still outstanding. Our secret to success is flying into remote areas via super cubs and hunting where the caribou are found.
This is an ideal combination hunt with true arctic grizzly for hunters looking for an adventurous trip to the tundra. We can offer 1:1 guided hunts for individuals, or special group packages for 4-6 people who want to come together and enjoy a caribou camp. We hunt from the remote fly-in tented camps as well as offer a camp along the river using boats to up and down the river system accessing the caribou herds. Our season runs from late July through August and into early September each year.
