This particular hunt is done inside the park's boundaries from either the remote lodge/cabins or tented spike camps, these hunting areas are only accessible by float plane. Hunters and guides use jet boats to travel the vast network of rivers, streams, and lakes to access the prime hunting locations. Returning to the main lodge/cabins every night at the end of the day. This area is a solid producer of bulls that average over 60" wide with heavy palms and big brow tines, with the largest bulls at or over 70" wide!
This hunt is a natural combination with a brown bear (coastal grizzly) hunting as the bears are on the salmon streams feeding on the fish as well as prowling the incredible blueberry patches that cover the area's mountainsides. The moose season in this area is September 5-15 every year and we run our packages September 2-16 to allow for an extra few days of brown bear hunting before the moose season opens.
