Hunting Roosevelt Elk in coastal Alaska is a real hunting adventure. The elk tags on Afrognak Island are only available thru the Alaska State tag draw. Applications are due by mid December and draw results are available after mid February. Clients successful in drawing a tag are then booked on the hunt with a 50% deposit and dates are scheduled between October 8-20 each fall.
