Northern New Mexico, south of Raton and near the town of Springer, is home to some of the best pure trophy pronghorn antelope hunting in North America. The vast prairie lands are loaded with antelope and the NMFG provides the private landowners with a handful of landowner vouchers each season to hunt the mid-August to early September seasons. Bucks scoring 75"-80" B&C are extremely common, and bucks scoring over 80"-85" or better have been taken each year. For a trophy hunter, this is THE place to book your trophy pronghorn hunt.
