British Columbia is home to some of the most incredible backcountry elk hunting opportunities in North America. From the Northern Rockies and down into the Peace River region of the province, elk populations are solid and in some cases growing with most areas restricted to shooting only six-point bulls. Hunters can either book a seven to ten-day elk only hunt or book a combination hunt with moose, mountain goats, or black bears as an option.
Some areas have exceptional black bear hunting in natural combination with the elk hunt.
The camps all offer different options for hunting area access, including 4wd truck, ATV/UTV, or even horseback. In some cases access to the area via jet boat is required. And there are even a few lodge and cabin based hunts available each year.
