Coues Deer Hunts

Grey Ghost of Sonora

The primary property for hunting these small whitetail deer is located two hours south of Nogales and east of Santa Ana. Lodging is a rustic ranch house used to lodge three hunters each week. The mountains and rolling plains are home to a solid population of Coues Deer that will on average run between 95-115 B&C on average with 115-130 B&C sized bucks taken every season.

4wd trucks are used to access the ranch and there are a limited number of mule deer on the ranch. Coues Deer hunters can opt to shoot a mule deer on a trophy fee basis, incidental to their Coues Deer hunt or after they have filled their whitetail tag.

Hunters will enjoy the meals prepared by Luis, the best Chef in any Mexican hunting camp we have ever been around. And the staff is friendly and works hard to help you fill your deer tag with a solid trophy. All hunters are either picked up in Hermosillo at the airport or met in Nogales at the border crossing and follow the staff to the ranch.

We plan to limit the ranch to nine deer hunters each year and the 2022 season schedule is as follows:

January 10-14, 2022 (3 Hunters)
January 17-21, 2022 (3 Hunters)
January 24-28, 2022 (3 Hunters)
