La Pampa means, FLAT, and La Pampa is flat brushy country and home to a large population of red deer. The hunting here is vastly different from Patagonia in that the terrain does not let you get up on high ridges and glass long distances. Instead you have to get into the brush with the roaring stags and locate them, move in, and hunt them up close. While you do not get to see nearly the same number of red deer as you would in Patagonia, the stags here are of good quality and trophies are of exceptional size. Hunters fly into Buenos Aires and then get another flight to Santa Rosa where our staff will meet your flights and transfer you to the lodging facility. In total we are now hunting several ranches totaling over 60,000 acres in La Pampa. The region has one major benefit, which is the exceptional volume of different species you can hunt while there on a red stag hunt. These species include water buffalo, blackbuck antelope, axis deer, puma, and capibara, and fallow deer. We have an exceptional hunt manager in place to make sure our clients receive the very finest in hunting experiences. |

Not all hunting in Argentina is completely free range. There are two red stag packages available for hunting on exceptionally large properties under high fence. One of these ranches is located in the extreme north at Cordoba and in close proximity to world class dove hunting. This ranch is over 10,000 acres in size and has exceptional red deer hunting opportunities. The other ranch is located in Patagonia, where there is 10,000 acres under high fence next to one of our 60,000 acre free range hunting areas. If you are interested in hunting these estates please let us know so we can secure dates and get you up to date rates on hunting for red deer on these ranches. The stags under high fence are larger than free range stags and the hunts cost more, usually on a trophy fee basis with fees depending on the size of the trophy being taken. We also have another property located just two hours out of Buenos Aires that has a world class free range blackbuck and axis deer hunt on 20,000 acres.
